Bunting Galore @ Bath Fashion Museum

Bath Fashion Museum has rallied the knitting community to produce 2500 flags and lovingly joined them together to make the most amazing bunting.

Maxine and I had a lovely day visiting the museum which has a history of fashion in sport exhibition and the most amazing chandeliers in the Assembly rooms.

But best of all was the bunting. It's lovely to think of the many different people who made the flags and the enormous task of joining them all.

Well worth a visit, check out more information here.

  1. What an interesting blog, introduced by a thought-provoking photo. The unusual wall painting of the dwellings is also a strangely modern interpretation. Something like this hieroglyphic view of a park by Swiss painter Paul Klee, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8LT475.
The image can be seen at wahooart.com who can supply you with a canvas print of it.
