I had planned to write about some things Maxine and I are making but on Friday evening we had our monthly crochet get together (knitters are welcome too).
Well, as usual we spent the first half hour with a show and tell, gasping and coveting the delights that our group creates.
The girl who made this kept coming in for cream Rowan pure wool dk and we couldn't imagine what she was making, however it is stunning.....
As usual, black works so well as a crochet background.

Just to prove that knitting is always appreciated too, look at this duffel bag, a gift from a knitting sister, now that is sisterly love!

Now it's February Maxine can reveal the pink heart selection she has been busy knitting.
Inside the sofa is looking inviting but there is so much to do, we never seem to spend much time on it knitting.
Meanwhile, the tapestry wool is popular, lots of lovely colours.
And new in, Crystal Palace KidMerino and Little Flowers, you can have a look at the Free Patterns for inspiration. Now, for valentines day start dropping hints to your loved one that yarn lasts longer than flowers.
